Sweet Creations Homemade Chocolate started out as an evening for mother, Lorraine and daughter, Jennine about 20 years ago. One evening they attended a class at a chocolate supply store in Lakewood NJ. They began to give their chocolates as gifts and made them for parties.
The earliest profit-making venture was brought about by their Church looking to raise support for missionaries. The Church gave some seed money, allowing Jennine to make chocolate pieces that she could sell to her classmates and neighbors. She raised a few hundred dollars from the $10.00 start up money.
Lorraine and Jennine continued to enjoy making their special chocolates over the years. In 2003 both desired to start a business together and spent time to pray for God's direction. A week later the answer came and Sweet Creations Homemade Chocolate was born.
Wanting their chocolate shop to be unique, Lorraine and Jennine decided to only make chocolate when it was ordered. This allows them to create unique arrangements and flavors that are tailored to each customer's preference. The chocolate covered cherries are served up with a napkin- they're so juicy.
Sweet Creations Homemade Chocolate has shipped holiday chocolates as far as Japan and to soldiers in Iraq.
